Invigorate & Soothe with Tui Na Massage & Cupping Therapy

What is Tui Na?

Tui Na (twee-nah) is a massage practice that works with ancient principles from Chinese healing traditions. Tui Na is translated as push, grasp. Acupressure is a part of Tui Na, making it a great option for people who would like the benefit of acupuncture without the needles.

For millennia, practitioners have skillfully used these techniques to restore health, induce relaxation, and soothe pain. Tui Na uses an intricate map of channels and acupressure points on the body to free up the Qi (life force) and the Blood. This release can facilitate deep healing and support your wellness on all levels

“As a Registered Massage Therapist, I've had many massages. Moss' Tui Na treatments are something special; her touch conveys genuine care. I look forward to every appointment because I know that I will leave feeling deeply relaxed yet quietly invigorated. Highly recommended.”

Cupping Therapy

Cupping Therapy is a practice that uses glass cups, fire, and suction to lift the skin, muscle, and fascia, create space, move stuck energy, and release unhelpful influences from the body. It is often used in sports medicine to invigorate the channels and relieve pain from exertion.

When the channels are open, the vital force can flow—activating the innate self-healing power we all have.

“I came to Moss with a pesky shoulder injury that was giving me headaches. When Moss treated me with Tui Na, it relieved the pain, and gave me so much more movement in the joint. I recommend her magical healing fingers!”
